Interfaith Challenges

Interfaith Action are organising a number of Interfaith Challenges for 16-25 year olds in Camden throughout the summer, as a way to bring young people form diverse backgrounds together, promoting community cohesion and offering a taster of group volunteering in Camden (supported with funding from the Camden Area Based Grant for Increasing Volunteering Opportunities).

We are looking for activities our groups of volunteers can undertake or help out with for approximately 4 hours (in one day), such as painting a community hall, clearing an area of wasteland or overgrown garden etc. Alternatively they could help out at a community event as stewards or support your service users for a day e.g. reading with children or visiting old people in a residential home (CRB checks will be completed where necessary), whatever your need is we may be able to help out

If you would like to find out more information please contact Kat Luckock on (020) 74 824020 or e-mail her at kat.luckock@interact-uk.org.uk
